What is WIZARDA?
WIZARDA is an internet based training program for people who in an easy way want to learn writing and reading:

Who can use WIZARDA?
Everyone able to control the cursor on a computer screen can train with WIZARDA.

To use WIZARDA you need

• a computer system with mouse, loudspeaker or headphones
• to be on the internet via ADSL or similar connection
• to make sure that the sound is on and turned to a suitable level.

Why is WIZARDA so easy to learn with?

• The graphics on the screen illustrates the word or sentence you train
• You can hear the word or sentence as many times as you like
• A visual keyboard on the screen shows a number of characters to choose from for the next position in the sentence you are training
• WIZARDA constantly adapts your support to your immediate level of proficiency
• You can repeat the lessons as many times as you want to attain full proficiency
• You have all the time you find necessary.

Can young people and adults with reading- or writing problems learn with WIZARDA?
Yes, WIZARDA constantly adapts the the training challenge to the user's present training level.

Can children learn writing and reading with WIZARDA?
Yes, WIZARDA works the same way for children as for adults. However, you will need to give a short introduction to the program and show your positive interest in your child's results frequently during the training. With the current lessons we recommend that a child should be more than 5 years.

As your child finds out how easy and fast it is to learn to read and write, it will soon be self-motivated to get to the point where it can start reading from other sources.

Can I track my results during the training?
Yes, WIZARDA will show your results of the lessons during your current training session. If you buy a license you can also see the results of your earlier training sessions.

This is highly recommended, since watching your progress over an extended period of time is very motivating. And buying a training license gives you access to all lessons and the languages you find, when you use the program as a guest.

As a guest you can train two lessons at all levels in alle the available languages.

Will I learn the grammar of the language I train?
Yes, WIZARDA trains you with an increasing level og difficulty

• nouns
• verbs
• short sentences with nouns, verbs and adjectives
• longer sentences with all sorts of words.
• sentences with questions and answers.

You also train:

• punctuation
• numerals
• words with accented letters like é - ü - ô
• other special characters

While training sentences in different contexts you gain an insight into the grammar. This happens without your conscious thought and you do not have to know grammatical expressions.
So you actually learn writing and reading the current language pretty much the same way a child does: listening, talking and writing.
