Should I use the mouse or the keyboard?
You can use both the mouse and the keyboard to enter your training sentences. If you use the physical keyboard, however, you must use the Shift key when writing an uppercase character. Likewise, you must take care to select the correct position of the Caps Lock key, so you get the correct case when writing.

Accented letters require your use of one of the "dead" accent keys before you press the expected letter.
Some accented letters also require your use of the Shift key along with the expected accent key.

So it is easier to find the correct character with the mouse. But if you are used to using a keyboard, you will write much faster. And if some character is hard to find you just use the mouse.
